There are several branches or Reiki's lineages, originated by several disciples of Mikao Usui. The Jin Kei Do is special, for the following reasons. First, Reiki's knowledge was transmitted by his founder Mikao Usui to Chujiro Hayashi and of Hayashi to a monk Zen called Takeuchi and finally to Seiji Takamori, a monk Buddhist, philosopher and teacher of meditation. Secondly, the pity transformed in the central point of this one lineage. The educations always did emphasis in the pity in Reiki's practice. Reiki's spiritual educations survived intact due to Teachers like Takeuchi and Takamori. Trained well in the art of the meditation, deeply compassionate, they developed a great wisdom and introspection in the real nature of the life and the universe. Doing of the pity and the wisdom an integral part of his daily lives, they opened the way for the healing of the mind and the body for many.
After having studied with Seiji Takamori, the Dr. Ranga decided to name to the lineage " Jin Kei Do ". Jin is the Japanese word that means pity, "Kei": wisdom: "Do" means "way" or " way of life ". Reiki's system designed by Mikao Usui and taught under the lineage Jin Kei Do is called Usui Shin Kai, the heart of Usui's educations.
Seiji Takamori was an explorer. He was an explorer of the methods for the healing as well as of the methods of meditation. His goal in the life was to be to the service of others and to develop his own mind. It was teaching all those who needed to recover. His aim in the life was to treat the mind of many across the meditation.
When it is said that Seiji Takamori's lineage is spiritual, it means that across the tuning in the Reiki one it connects with the spiritual nature of the universe, maybe, for the first time.
