Introduction
With the prodigious force of the Reiki it is possible to be favored the health of body and mind without owning no specialized medical knowledge, simply putting the hands and giving Reiki. Perhaps with these enormous advantages, it would be logical to consider the Reiki like a miracle and a curative method for any ailment, any problem and any disease.
But he would be ingenuous to suppose that the Reiki makes all the other methods unnecessary of treatment. The Reiki works in a very deep plane, but sometimes this is not sufficient; so that a true treatment can be produced must give the first physical training conditionses, psychic or spiritual. A simple example is a fractured leg. In such case, to anybody it would be happened to want to him to cure it with Reiki exclusively, but he is better to trust the methods, widely tried in this field, of the conventional medicine.
But this example demonstrates another question at the same time. Even in a as simple case as the fracture of a leg, a symptomatic treatment of the conventional medicine - to place the leg in its site, to plaster it and to order rest are not sufficient. So that the fracture is really cured and the leg returns to work to total yield is needed the flow of the vital energy, that can be fortified and be harmonized with Reiki.
In other applications of the art to cure, the situation is similar. They are “hard” methods like the conventional medicine or smooth and global methods like the flowers of Bach, all contribute significantly to the integral treatment of the human being. Each perspective contemplates only one more or less ample section of the totality. But, after all, a single theory, a unique vision of the world does not exist, a single method that can explain all the phenomena of the universe so varied.
The Reiki, in fact can complement of very positive form to each of them. Through Reiki the strong points of each methodology are made clear more clearly, that unfolds thus its effects with greater effectiveness. The Reiki can get to be one of the most important instruments for the person who exerts in the field of the curative arts.

The Reiki and Homeopathy
Already in 1810, Samuel Hahnemann developed a method based on principles very different from those of the traditional medicine: homeopathy. Two principles characterize to the classic homeopathy of Hahnemann. The first principle, that also gave name to the method, is the one of the similarity: similia similibus curantur; the diseases are cured with remedies that bring about symptoms similar to those of the disease, but administered in small doses. Thus for example, the toxic metal thallium, that it brings about the fall of the hair, is used in homeopathy to very small doses to avoid the fall of the hair.
The second principle is the one of the power. To harness in homeopathy means to dilute. This to dilute it is realized of a form prescribed with great exactitude in order to assure that the information of the remedy is transmitted with harnessed or extended force. The more one has harnessed a remedy the less material substance contains, but - indeed by it the more hard it will be its power.
Therefore, classic homeopathy does not work in the material plane, but in the power one and, therefore, in essence it is looked more like the Reiki than to the conventional medicine. It is for that reason that both methods combine very well. He is recommendable to apply Reiki immediately, already when to prepare the medicine. Although, also the remedy with Reiki once finished can be loaded, so that it can develop his curative effect of the most effective form.

The Reiki and the Shiatsu
The Shiatsu is a type of Japanese massage. Shiatsu means pressure of fingers, and in the Shiatsu it really works mainly with the fingers. The technique consists of treating points (tsubas) located in certain circuits of energy (dazzling), with the aim of activating and harmonizing the flow of energies and to eliminate the blockades in the meridians. The Shiatsu, therefore, is a method that does not exert a purely physical effect but it considers in addition power processes.
For that reason one is in certain way become related with the Reiki and, really, both methods are complemented very well. When during a treatment of Shiatsu Reiki of simultaneous form occurs, the meridians are harmonized before and the blockades dissolve more easily.
To it, naturally, it is necessary to add all the advantages mentioned in the section on Reiki in combination with the massage, since the Shiatsu is also a type of massage.

The Reiki and the Massage
The Reiki turns out suitable to complement any massage. Since the energy is radiated through the hands, it is very easy at the same time to give Reiki during a massage. Thus this one acquires a totally new quality. The massage supported with Reiki not only dissolves to muscular tensions but also power the more deep blockades. The treatment generally is made more pleasant and has major effect, as much for the therapist as for the patient.
Indeed in the massages, where the therapist has a prolonged contact more with ill or tense patients, it acquires special relevance one of the aspects of the force of the Reiki: its protective effect. The Reiki protects the negative therapist of the emanated negative energies of blockades, tensions, diseases and feelings. Normally, the people who work with curative methods find exposed to auger of negative energies and, for that reason they often suffer wears away and exhaustion.
A masseur initiated in the force of the Reiki will be able to do its work with greater joy, positive energy and success. Thanks to the experience that is acquired practicing the Reiki, sensitivity for the power processes is increased: the blockades are clear and dissolve with greater rapidity, the energy can flow again freely and the massage becomes a truly global treatment.

The Reiki and the Flowers of Bach
The British doctor Edward Bach (18861936) was also, at the outset, a homeopath convinced of the lessons of Hahnemann.
In his investigations, he discovered 38 remedies: 37 floral essences and the water of natural sources. The essences of the Flowers of Bach are prepared following a method special, which, of way similar to homeopathy, must like objective transmit the energy, the vital force of the flower to the essence. In the method of the Flowers of Bach the material components do not act, but exclusively the energy of the remedy at issue. Consequently, the therapy of the Flowers of Bach is a power method, of ethereal matter and, therefore, similar to the Reiki.
The Flowers of Bach, as all the medicines - it does not matter, if they act in the material or spiritual plane, also benefit if the Reiki is applied already during its preparation. This is especially recommendable when it works with the intuitive therapy of the Flowers of Bach, consisting of preparing the essences of individual form.

The Reiki and the Psycotherapy
Not only the people with serious psychic problems, but also those that want to know themselves, to learn of themselves and to use their own force take advantage of the possibilities a psycotherapy. However, many people are scared with the single mention of the word “psycotherapy”; although literally she does not mean more than “well-taken care of of psyche”, something that him does not make bad to anybody.
Many schools different from psycotherapy exist; from the psychoanalysis, that tries to arrive at the root of the problems through associations and interpretations of the childhood, until the behaviorist therapy, that is concentrated mainly in the learning experiences which they have ended at the present problem. But, independent of the type of applied psycotherapy, it is almost always indicated to reinforce it with Reiki.
However, in the case of serious endogenous diseases, like the endogenous depression, the psychoses and schizophrenias, Reiki is only due to use after consulting with the doctor or ordered psychotherapist, since paradoxical reactions can take place. This naturally does not mean that the Reiki is going to have negative effects; we have already said that he is always positive. It dissolves the deep roots of a disease, although during the process, that requires certain time, the symptoms of the disease are continued declaring and, therefore, unexpected reactions to the inner conditions to the treatment with Reiki can take place.
Nevertheless, when one is to surpass personal crises, of the self-knowledge or a psychic support, the Reiki is, without doubt, a suitable complement and a aid for the psycotherapy.

The Reiki and the conventional medicine or Allopathic Medicine
The defenders of alternative or Eastern methods of treatment usually are not in agreement with the western conventional medicine. Also it is certain that this last branch of the medicine has taken many mistaken courses and has been distanced more and more of the people like human beings. Chemical agents in their interior are spilled as if they were the test tubes, concentrating generally in the symptoms and not in the holistic aspect of the patient (body, mind and spirit).
But the conventional medicine is changing slowly, more and more amount of medical allopathists are using in its practices Indian, Chinese or Japanese medicine. And, something not less important, are situations in which the western medicine is the unique alternative, like for example an appendicitis, in which it must be extracted without loss of time.
The totally material methods of the western medicine can be complemented very well with the Reiki; since it will foment his positive aspects and it will smooth out his negative effects.
In order to finalize, something that does not have to forget: the Reiki cannot replace the conventional medicine completely.
Sometimes the first symptoms of the disease in the material plane must be fought, before the Reiki can act on the root of the ailment.
